Lake Sammamish
On the second day we were in America we were invited to our friends house on Lake Sammamish. Sammamish is the name of an Indian tribe in the Pacific Northwest. Like New Zealand, many places names relate to the people who were the first inhabitants of the area.
It was a warm day and we we swam at a beach my mum used to swim at when she was a kid. The watermelon was yummy!
